Search for your collection day and find amended details during Bank Holidays and other affected periods.
Our Box-It! kerbside recycling service collects sorted rubbish for recycling from your house once a fortnight.
On collection day, please put your boxes and bag together on the pavement in front of your property. It may not always be possible to give you back the same boxes each time after they are emptied due to our collection methods.
Please enter your street name and town and then click on Search.
The Box-It scheme is collected by Lewes District Council. However, for residents living in the following areas, please refer to our Furniture Now Recycling Collections page for specific guidance one your collections.
To report a missed kerbside recycling collection to us, please see the following page for further information:
If you are elderly, infirm or disabled and do not have any family members or friends who can help you to put out your recycling boxes, you can apply for an assisted collection.
This means our collection staff will be able to collect your kerbside recycling from a location at your property that is more suitable for your situation, as normally your boxes must be placed at the front boundary of your property for collection.
You can arrange an assisted collection by contacting us. One of our officers will then come to your property, assess your needs and, if you qualify, we would agree a collection place for your recycling boxes.
Changes to waste and recycling collections will appear here in due course. Please check back again closer to the next Bank Holiday for any forthcoming changes. You can also receive this information by signing up to our e-newsletter service, or checking the back page of our residents' magazine, District News.
