Textiles, Clothes & Bric-a-Brac

We collect textiles, clothes and bric-a-brac as part of Box It!. This is available to all households who currently participate with the scheme.

We provide a special bag to put all your unwanted clothes, belts and handbags, shoes, boots, linen, blankets, sheets, curtains, fabric, books, videos, CDs & DVDs and bric-a-brac.

To receive a bag to place your items in, please contact Customer Services to arrange delivery of one.

Collections

Place the bag on the pavement at the front of your house before 8.30am on your usual Box It collection day. Please try to avoid blocking the path with larger items.

The bag will be collected as part of your normal kerbside recycling service.  However, we may be able to collect on a separate day.

Promotional fylers are distributed from time-to-time informing residents of one-off collections dates.
