This scheme enables persons aged 60 or over, or who are disabled, to travel free on local bus services throughout England on production of a valid pass. EligibilityIn order to receive a bus pass from the Council, you must be a resident of the Lewes District area. You must:
You will need to be able to prove your eligibility for a bus pass. This is explained in the separate document which can be downloaded from the 'Relevent Documents' section of this page. How to applyIn order to obtain a bus pass, you will need to complete an application form and return it to the Council along with one recent passport photograph and proof of eligibility. The application form can be downloaded by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.
