Industrial, Commercial, Retail and Hotel Monitoring
The purpose of this report is to help with the review of the existing adopted Local Plan policies which will then help inform the policies in the new local development plan process known as the Local Development Framework.
Planning Policy Statement 3 (PPS3): Housing and PPS4: Planning for Sustainable Economic Growth advocate a plan, monitor and manage approach to allocating land for development. Therefore, annual monitoring of the industrial and commercial land supply is carried out, which helps to provide the information on the amount of land which will need to be released.
This Monitoring Report includes collated data on the situation with regard to sites with planning permission for Commercial and Industrial use. The information is required for the preparation of the Annual Monitoring Report.
