Planning Application Search

Search for detailed records of planning applications and appeals within the district and submit comments to those pending a decision.

We hold an online database of planning files. Detailed applications are searchable from March 2006 with limited records available from 1948.

All Planning Applications received from 1st April 2012 that are within the National Park (SDNPA), will only be available to view on the SDNPA website. We will continue to process the applications but they will no longer appear on our website. Please Contact us for the latest information.

Our Planning Public Access system enables you to monitor the progress of an application, submit comments and view attached documents.

Records take up to 5 working days to be updated for viewing following validation. The system is also unavailable between 12am and 4:30am daily for maintenance reasons.

Please note that the 'Comments' tab, that displays once you have searched for an application, does not contain all the comments that have been received. However all comments and documents associated with the application are available to view by selecting the 'Documents' tab and 'View Associated Documents'. If the status of 'Consultee Comments' states 'Comment not available for publication' this means that we have not yet received any comments from that consultee.
