Jewels of the Downs at Landport Bottom

Lewes District Council’s rangers invite you to a free guided walk at Landport Bottom in Lewes to discover the butterflies and flowers that adorn our grassy hills. Learn about migrating butterflies from North Africa and how tiny flowers endure big battles with bullish grasses.

All are invited to come along to this free event scheduled to start at 10.30am on Saturday 18 June. The walk is scheduled to last approximately two and a half hours.  Meet at the bottom gate on the Old Motor Road near Nevill Road, Lewes BN7 1QH.  Map reference TQ 402 109.
