Middle Farm

Middle Farm at Firle, near Lewes, is a 625 acre working farm. There is an Open Farm with chickens, ducks, spotted pigs, donkeys and Shire horse. Also rabbits and guinea pigs, plus outdoor playground, hay play barn and picnic area. A national collection of Cider and Perry, restaurant, shop and butchery. Ample parking.

Stoneywish Country Park

A little to the north of Ditchling, Stoneywish centres around a former dairy farm. The 52 acre park has picnic areas and nature trails, children's play areas and a cafe. Former farm buildings house exhibitions on rural life and local history. A variety of birds and animals can be seen in their natural habitat and there is a pets' corner in the farmyard.
