A riverside recreation ground located in central Lewes off Spences lane. Home to the Waterloo Bonfire Society, site of one of the many Bonfire societies that turn Lewes into a spectacular site of sound and vision every November 5th. Free Car parking available on site adjacent to the children's play area.

Bell Lane Recreation Ground, Lewes

An area of open space with no formal sports ground, located off Bell Lane, Lewes.

 An area of open grass land with a secluded pond at one end, located on the Landport estate in Lewes.

Stanley Turner Ground, Lewes

The Stanley Turner Ground is located on the Kingston Road just outside Lewes. The facilities include free on-site parking.

Telscombe Playing Fields, Telscombe

Telscombe Playing Fields are located at the northern end of Telscombe Cliffs Way. Facilities include a free on-site car park.

Eastside Recreation ground, Newhaven

This public open space is the smaller of the two in Newhaven and is located at Norton Road. The facilities consist of:

Walmer Road Recreation Ground, Seaford

An area of open land situated in Walmer road Seaford. The facilities available are:

• 2 senior football pitches
• Sports changing rooms
• Children's play area
• On road parking

Fort Road Recreation Ground, Newhaven

Fort Road Recreation Ground is the larger of two recreation grounds in Newhaven. It is located at the southern end of Fort Road.

Lying at the foot of the proposed Castle Hill Nature Reserve, Fort Road Recreation Ground has a number of amenities to offer, whether for those taking a leisurely walk or those wishing to participate in more energetic pursuits such as tennis or jogging. During the summertime cricket is played on the square, with bowls on the manicured bowling green, while in the winter season football takes over as the main sport.

Formal bedding displays give a brilliance of colour to the north entrance, while if looking for a more natural setting, the southern end boasts a spectacular view of the Seven Sisters cliff formation. Public conveniences are available on site with free on-street parking.

The Salts Recreation Ground, Seaford

The Salts recreation ground is situated between the sea and Seaford main line railway station. It is the largest and most diverse public open space in Seaford. It has a well-equipped children's play area and sports facilities that include rugby, football, tennis, cricket and pitch and putt.  The children's play area has a range of equipment that caters for toddlers up to teenagers. Close to the play area, the skate equipment area includes a grind rail and quarter pipes.

Tennis courts are available on a turn up and play basis, whilst the hire of golf clubs and payment for the use of the pitch and putt is available through the café situated adjacent to the play area. On odd occasions the old Sussex game of stool ball, traceable back to 1450, can be seen being played, This game has similarities to cricket and rounders.

The café is open for refreshments during the summer season with female, male and disabled conveniences located within the recreation ground. The closest public car park is located outside the main entrance in Richmond Road with the main Seaford railway station just a short walk away.
