Car Parking Areas on Housing Estates

The council have provided parking areas on most of its housing estates. We are all aware that vehicular use has increased many times over since the estates were built and there is usually a problem for everyone to get parked. No one on the council estates has been allocated a parking space other than disabled bays. The parking of untaxed and/or un-roadworthy vehicles on these car park areas is forbidden. The council will remove and dispose of such vehicles. Caravans, trailers, boats and other items that occupy valuable parking spaces will likewise be removed after a suitable notice period.

Parking Permits

Parking permits are required in the De Montfort estate and St Pancras estate areas of Lewes.
