Mortgage & Rent Arrears

Seek advice as early as possible if you are experiencing mortgage or rent arrears.

Help and advice is available to homeowners having problems paying their mortgage. This includes those who feel in danger of having their home repossessed due to mortgage arrears.

The Government has financed a Mortgage Rescue Scheme and if you are eligible we can help you to stay in your home.

If you are living in the private sector, renting a Council or housing assocition property and have rent arrears, we can help.

We host advice surgeries where you can get one-to-one help from our officers. Alternatively, Citizens Advice Bureau can also help.

The earlier you ask for help the better. Take action now or your home could be at risk.
