Food Hygiene Training & Courses

We provide courses for food handlers who are now required to hold a hygiene certificate before operating as a business.

We provide courses for food handlers who are now required to hold a hygiene certificate before operating as a business. The Food Safety Act 1990 requires those handling food for public consumption to hold a Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene.

We regularly hold food hygiene courses.

£60 per person
full one- day course
9am - 5pm.

They course take place at Southover House, Lewes with qualified assessors. A short exam will take place at the end of the day, marked by The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. If successful, a Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene will then be issued and posted to your address.

Other organisations run similar courses. Some are offered in a selection of languages.
