Pest Removal Services

We operate a comprehensive Pest Control Service dealing with infestation of rats, mice and insects of environmental health significance in properties throughout the district.

Our Pest Control Officers deal with issues which are considered to be public health problem. These include rats, mice and other pests and vermin.

We also deal with pests not deemed a public health risk. These include wasps and fleas.

In addition we give advice on prevention and steps to take to eradicate infestations. This includes dealing with squirrels, foxes, rabbits, moles and seagulls. However, we do not provide a service to directly deal with these animals.

Cost

Fees are charged differently to domestic (household) residents and businesses.

Rats

Domestic – free
Commercial - £70 minimum, plus bait £55.32+VAT per 10kg bag

Mice

Domestic - £30
Commercial - £70 minimum, plus bait £55.32+VAT per 10kg bag

Wasp nest

Domestic & Commercial - £33, plus each additional nest £10 + VAT each

Bees

Domestic & commercial - £41 minimum, plus £17 per half-hour (first hour free)

Flees

Domestic - £46 minimum up to 3 bedroom property, £10 per extra bedroom
Commercial - £48 minimum

Other pests- ants, cockroaches, bed bugs mites…
Domestic & commercial - £35 treatment charge

Squirrels

Domestic & commercial – £17 per half-hour

Discounts

Treatment for pests of public health significance (mice, fleas, cockroaches, bed bugs) will receive a 50% discount if in receipt of benefits:
