Pest Control Service

We operate a comprehensive Pest Control Service dealing with infestation of rats, mice and insects of environmental health significance in properties throughout the district.

To request a Pest Control treatment for Rats, Mice or Wasps at your home please use our pest control request form.

Our Pest Control Officers deal with issues which are considered to be a Public Health Problem. These include rats, mice and other pests and vermin.

We also deal with pests not deemed a Public Health risk. These include wasps and fleas.

In addition we give advice on prevention and steps to take to eradicate infestations. This includes dealing with Squirrels, foxes, rabbits, moles and seagulls. However, we do notprovide a service to directly deal with these animals.

Cost

Fees are charged differently to domestic (household) residents and businesses.

 Pests Domestic Commercial
Rats Free £100 minimum, plus bait
Mice £55 £100 minimum, plus bait
Wasps Nests £45 plus each additional nest at that time at £20 + VAT each £45, plus each additional nest at that time At £20 + VAT each
Bees £55 minimum,
plus £25 per half-hour (over one hour)		 £55 minimum,
plus £25 per half-hour (over one hour)
Fleas £60 minimum up to and including 3 bedroom property
£20 per extra bedroom		 £75 minimum charge
Cockroaches £50 plus unit charge for treatment £50 plus unit charge for treatment
