Asking questions about the sustainability of our lives is no longer regarded as an eccentric occupation, but as a pretty reasonable activity for any thinking person. One of the great driving forces for this is the impact of climate change, the most imminent threat to our shared future. In the last ten years we’ve moved from ‘is it really happening?’ to ‘what can we do about it?’ And while the challenge is enormous, it’s also an opportunity to reshape our lives in positive ways and reconnect with our community.
The following PDF document goes to the Making Things Happen newsletter of Summer 2007, Issue 9, Climate Change Special which includes the Lewes Climate Concern, Ringmer College Greens, Ashurst Organics, our changing birds, carbon offsetting and more. |
