Planning Policy Guidance Note 3 advocates a plan, monitor and manage approach to allocating land for development. Therefore, annual monitoring of the industrial and commercial land supply is carried out, which helps to provide the information on the amount of land which will need to be released. This Monitoring Report includes collated data on the situation with regard to sites with planning permission for Commercial and Industrial use. The information is required for the preparation of the Annual Monitoring Report. If you have a site that you wish to be considered for inclusion in the new emerging Local Development Framework then please complete the Site Checklist Form (see the relevant documents section of this page) and return it to the planning department.
