You can visit us at the Planning Services Division at Southover House, Southover Road, Lewes, which is open Monday to Thursday 9am. - 5 pm  and Friday 9am - 4.30pm. The Planning Services Division is on the 2nd floor and there is a lift available. We do not have any visitor parking at Southover House but there are several public car parks nearby, the nearest being in Mountfield Road and Friars Walk. We are close to Lewes Railway Station.

Meetings with Planning Officers - Owing to increased workloads, we are having to manage the time of our planning officers more tightly. This means that we can no longer provide "on the spot " advice from planning officers. Our Planning Information Office staff will, of course, continue to provide all the help and assistance they can with enquiries.If you want to meet a planning officer, you will normally need to make an appointment in advance either by phone on 01273 471600 or via planning@lewes.gov.uk

A Planning Surgery is held on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month at the following venues where a Planning Officer is present to discuss any planning related issues:-

Telscombe Civic Centre, 360 South Coast Road, Telscombe Cliffs 9.15 - 10:00am
Information Office, Meridian Centre, Peacehaven 10:15 - 11:00am
Newhaven Town Council Offices, Fort Road 11:15 - 12:00pm

The South Team covers East Saltdean, Telscombe, Peacehaven, Newhaven, Seaford and the parishes of South Heighton, Glynde, Beddingham, Firle, Piddinghoe, Southease, Rodmell, Kingston, Falmer, Iford and St.Ann Without. The North Team covers Lewes and the parishes of Barcombe, Chailey, Ditchling, East Chiltington, Hamsey, Newick, Plumpton, Ringmer, Streat, St.John Without, Westmeston and Wivelsfield.
