Planning Policy Guidance Note 3 (Housing) advocates a plan, monitor and manage approach to allocating land for development. Therefore, annual monitoring of the housing land supply is carried out, which helps to provide the information on the amount of land which will need to be released in Phase 2 (i.e. 2006-2011). If you have a site that you wish to be considered for inclusion in the new emerging Local Development Framework then please complete the Site Checklist Form (see the relevant documents section of this page) and return it to the planning department. This document is an audit of housing in the Lewes District between 1st April 2007 to 31st March 2008. Published July 2008.
