How do I get rid of ants, cockroaches or other insects? How do I get rid of ants, cockroaches or other insects? |
AntsGarden ants are an outdoor insect that often invades houses searching for food, causing annoyance to householders. Unpleasant as they may be, they are not an environmental health risk. However, we do try to use our knowledge to advise householders how to deal with this problem themselves, normally we do this over the phone. Occasionally a site visit may be necessary. In exceptional circumstances we may undertake a treatment and for this we would charge. You can treat ants yourself with crawling insect insecticide. Apply a residual insecticide to the entrance of the nest and wherever ants have entered your home. Inside your house, you should put insecticide behind the sink unit, skirting boards, doors, window frames, wastepipes & other pipes, including any small cracks and crevices, creating a band of insecticide over which the ants would have to cross to enter your home.
