How do I get rid of pigeons on my property?

There is no instant solution to getting rid of pigeons effectively and action is best focussed on prevention. All wild birds are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and it is an offence to kill or injure any birds or their nests/eggs unless acting under a licence and only in compliance with the conditions of that licence. Treatment is often difficult and expensive but certain measures can be undertaken to proof your property.
