• Air Quality

  Air quality within the district is monitored through a series of action plans and joint working to ensure it is not a risk to health.

• Construction Sites

  Construction sites should take action to stop high levels of dust polluting the air and never burn waste for disposal.

• Exhaust Fumes

  Vehicles emitting excessive smoke can be reported as they contribute pollutants into the atmosphere affecting the quality of the air we breath.

• Odours & Smells

  Bad odours and smells can be reported and in certain instances action can be taken to prevent it from happening.

• Smoke

  Advice and guidance for residents planning to have a bonfire or wishing to complain about a neighbour causing a nuisance.
