Welcome to Lewes District Council’s CAPS PublicAccess system.Use this site to view details on planning applications received from 1948 to present. CAPS PublicAccess is an online service that enables users to:- *Applications forms and plans only viewable on applications received after 9th June 2008. A comprehensive help is available when you enter the system (select Help from the menu). PLEASE NOTE - Public Access is unavailable between the hours of 01:00am and 03:00am to allow for daily maintenance of the system and additional scheduled maintenace may occur at other times. Meetings with Planning Officers - Owing to increased workloads if you wish to discuss an application in person with a Planning Officer you will need to make an appointment in advance, either by phone on 01273 471600 or via planning@lewes.gov.uk. Our Planning Information Office staff will, of course, continue to provide all the help and assistance they can with enquiries. Weekly List Notification - If you wish to receive notification that a new Weekly List has been placed on the web, please send us an email titled 'Weekly List Notification' to helen.dugard@lewes.gov.uk
