Welcome to Lewes District Council’s CAPS PublicAccess system.

Use this site to view details on planning applications received from 1948 to present.

CAPS PublicAccess is an online service that enables users to:-
• Search and view details on current planning applications
• Submit comments about current planning applications
• View the following documentation of current* planning applications:
  application forms, decision notices, plans (viewing documents will require Adobe Acrobat Reader)
• Follow the progress of a current application
• View information on past planning applications
• View maps on current applications
• Search for Appeals and Enforcement information
• Use property search to find details of related cases in Planning and view maps

*Applications forms and plans only viewable on applications received after 9th June 2008.

A comprehensive help is available when you enter the system (select Help from the menu).

PLEASE NOTE - Public Access is unavailable between the hours of 01:00am and 03:00am to allow for daily maintenance of the system and additional scheduled maintenace may occur at other times.
