All councillors receive an annual allowance and are entitled to claim a travel allowance when attending meetings. A dependant carers' allowance is also available if appropriate. Detailed below are the allowances paid to individual Councillors during the financial years 2003/04, 2004/05, 2005/06, 2006/07 and 2007/08 under the Members' Allowances Scheme.
