Lewes District Council has identified development and regeneration opportunities for up to 48 sites within their ownership across the District. The Council is seeking interest from potential partners to help deliver regeneration and other benefits.
Some of our policies and strategies are not limited to one department and serve to cover the work by the Council as a whole.
This brings together many of our achievements over the past year and sets out a programme to improve services for the public in coming year. We monitor our progress and performance every quarter.
We set-out a list of commitments to our residents and business so you know what to expect from us and how we perform.
We're sorry if our service hasn't met your expectations. We strive to provide a high-quality service at all times. However, if you'd like to make an official complaint, please follow our procedure.
We want to be recognised as a centre of excellence in environmental management and sustainability, share a common ambition with our partners to address inequality in the district and improve the quality of life.
We have an internal environmental management system covering every service.
10:10 is a national campaign aiming to cut carbon by 10% in 2010. Lewes District Council is signed up to this commitment.
This outlines our approach to how we aim to improve our service by maintaining good performance across our services.

Lewes District Council currently spends approximately £14 million on externally procured works, goods and services. Much of this spend is with Small and Medium sized Enterprises.
Every year independent auditors review our performance and summarise their findings in a letter.
