Access For Disabled People
We are committed to improving access for disabled residents and visitors. This includes access to and within buildings and access within the wider environment.
Our Access Officer provides services to advise developers about design of new buildings and alterations to existing buildings.
They also advise businesses and disabled customers on the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and details of Access Groups and act as a central resource for all disability issues.
