The meeting will be held outside the Church, Vale Road. This will provide an opportunity for local residents to let us know how they feel about crime and anti-social behaviour around their local area. Representatives from Lewes District Council and Sussex Police will be available to explain the work the police and the Seaford Local Action Team are involved in, including youth activities and community development. The Police and Lewes District Council representatives will be outside the Church in Vale Road for about an hour but will stay will stay as long as it is necessary to listen to and understand the issues residents want to raise. The meeting will also give local people the opportunity to find out how they can help contribute towards making their neighbourhood safer. Residents who cannot come along to the street consultation are encouraged to speak to a neighbour and ask them to come along and raise the issues on their behalf. Lewes District Council has an Anti-social Behaviour Co-ordinator, Louisa Young who covers the whole of Lewes District. She can be contacted on 01273 484394.
