Councillor Carla Butler said, "People eating here will enjoy the fresh new surroundings and will also be confident that the food they are buying has been prepared by trained staff using excellent standards of hygiene." The Clean Catering Award is awarded to premises that have been judged to show an outstanding commitment to food hygiene. Lewes District Council's Clean Catering Awards are sought after by local restaurants, pubs, cafés, takeaways and residential care homes.
