Over 60 people attended the event to give their views on what facilities should be provided at the ground, and what problems, if any, local residents encountered. The event was organised by Lewes District Council’s Parks Department and Anti Social Behaviour Officer as well as Seaford Town Council. The local police also attended along with Councillor Jon Freeman and Councillor Tracy Willis. Ideas from local residents included the need for more seating and bins, various ideas for play equipment and more planting and there was some feedback from residents who would like the recreation ground to stay as it is. Further information is available from Andy Frost, Lewes District Council’s Parks Manager on 01273 484398. Ends/ Media enquiries: |
