It is important that we collect Council Tax promptly to keep costs down and pay for local services. If you fail to make a payment within 2 weeks of your instalment date a reminder will be sent to you, asking for payment by a specified date. No more than two reminders will be issued in a financial year. If payment in full is not made the Council will issue a summons for you to appear at the Magistrates Court. This will result in you incurring additional costs that will be added to your Council Tax Account.
