Coach Parking, Lewes

Coach parking is available in Lewes at specific places within the town to offer easy access for large vehicles with minimal disruption.

Drop off and pick up points

High Street, Lewes

Coach drop off/pick up is permitted in the loading bay outside numbers 70-71 (Flint/Catlin’s) close to Lewes Castle and town centre shopping. Drivers are advised to approach from the east to minimise risk to passengers and traffic congestion.

Southover High Street

Coach drop off/pick up is permitted on the single yellow line outside Anne of Cleves House (also for Lewes Priory) for a maximum 10 minute waiting time. Drivers are advised to approach from the west to minimise risk to passengers and traffic congestion.

Friars Walk

Coach drop off/pick up is permitted at the bus stop (opposite Natwest bank) for a maximum 10 minute stay. Central location for all visits to Lewes town centre, shopping and Harvey’s Brewery. Toilet facilities adjacent.

Phoenix Causeway

Coach drop off/pick up is permitted at the bus stop on the eastern approach of Phoenix Causeway to the town (opposite the car showroom) for a maximum 10 minute stay. Although on the outskirts of the town this stop is only a 5 minute walk to the town centre via a scenic riverside walk.

Long stay parking

North Street

Spring Gardens Car Park has three long stay coach bays are available for a £2 per day. Nearby refreshments and toilet facilities are located in the town centre – a short 5 minute walk way.

Brooks Road

Coaches are permitted to long stay on Brooks Road for a £2 per day fee. Nearby facilities include a supermarket with café and toilets.
