Graffiti & Flyposting

The removal of graffiti and fly posters is the responsibility of different people depending upon where the incident has occurred.

Any graffiti or posters placed on council-owned property will be removed by us. However, the removal of graffiti from private property is the responsibility of the property owner.

Our Enforcement Officer will investigate any instances of fly posting. It is an illegal, anti-social activity that creates a negative impression of an area.

Public utilities, for example telecoms and public transport operators, are responsible for removing fly posting from their property.
