Saturday 4 February 2012 10am-3pm. This year Seedy Saturday will be at Lewes Town Hall. It will feature lots of practical advice on saving seed, good fruit tree health and making special Biochar cookers.
There will be plenty of specialist plant and seed companies there and children’s activities and refreshments. Watch this space for details of stallholders and workshops.
Seedy Saturday began in 2007 and each year it attracts more and more people. Primarily the event is about swapping seeds but it is also a great family day out with workshops for adults and children and the opportunity to meet people interested in gardening, local food production, climate change and sustainability.
The event is at Lewes Town Hall. Entry is free for children and 50p per adult.
The Enjoy Sussex has a list of accommodation for those wishing to stay overnight.
For drivers, see further details of car parks in Lewes.
